Red Beans

Large dark red kidney beans that soften over a long simmer while keeping every seed whole and firm on the plate.

Red kidney beans are known for their glossy dark skin and large seed. After soaking they soften over a long simmer without falling apart, and their dense, slightly floury texture carries spiced sauces well. A filling pulse with a high fibre content.

Each harvest lot is de-stoned, freed of splits and graded so the large calibre stays even, then packed on lines running under BRC and ISO 9001. Bulk sacks and retail formats are prepared for canners, ready-meal producers and wholesale food distributors.

Applications Chili and stews, canning, salads, bean dishes, vegetarian mains

Storage Store cool and dry; beans kept for a long period may need a longer soak before cooking.
